Master of Science (MSc.) in Organisational Development

The Master’s Programme is designed to equip postgraduates with a sustainable mindset and the skills to create self-sufficient opportunities after graduation. It targets individuals with a first degree or relevant qualifications who aim to advance their careers in Organization and Community Development, including professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, leaders, and those in training and development roles.
The program supports personal and organizational development goals across academia, the security sector, industry, non-profit organizations, and young professionals. Participants will gain a comprehensive background in OD, learning models to drive transformational change, manage organizational transitions, address staff development issues, and lead successful OD interventions for enhanced effectiveness, efficiency, and performance. By the end of the program, students will understand the history and current trends in OD, distinguish between OD and management consulting, apply ethical behaviors, analyze the OD approach’s significance, utilize the Action Research Model, apply OD facilitation skills, and establish and run their consultancy firms.
Master of Science (MSc.) in Private Sector Development

The CCOD curriculum is designed for individuals new to or with basic knowledge in private sector development (PSD) or local economic development (LED). It targets entrepreneurs, executives, leaders, private sector advocates, academics, social workers, non-profit sector operators, SME managers, consultants, HR practitioners, and young professionals seeking to improve performance or facilitate change. The program aims to produce professionals and graduates capable of contributing to Ghana’s private sector development by training advocates to implement practical interventions, influence policies, and support SME growth. Graduates will gain a deep understanding of PSD in Ghana and Africa, conduct action research, engage in dialogues, and differentiate between PSD advocacy and social policies to foster a thriving environment for SMEs
Master of Philosophy (Mphil) in Private Sector Development

This advanced Organizational Development Education (ODE) program combines the CCOD postgraduate and Master of Science in Organization Development (OD) courses. Its purpose is to empower students to use OD interventions for facilitating change and development, contributing to the transformation of communities, organizations, and educational institutions.
