His fervent OD practice has guided him to organize several trainings on FDA’s mandate for officers and staff in order to empower them to carry out their duties efficiently. This has as expected, brought in a lot of transforming innovations in the FDA under his leadership. Through frequent training sessions in tune with the practice of OD, they update clients on FDA guidelines,
procedures and processes and engage regularly, stakeholders to discuss areas of common interest to avoid duplication of functions and for effective collaboration. At the end of every year, he organizes a 360 o feedback assessment for the entire staff to appraise him, and this has brought about great transparency and trust in his administration. The OD programme has
evidently had a positive impact on him and reflects in his leadership.”
